Ruffin It Doggy Day Camp is a mother and daughter partnership. It based at our home in Henlade, near Taunton. We have a large garden and are surrounded by fields and woodland, perfect for dog walking and a home away from home experience. There are no cages and your dog can enjoy long walks, the comfort of our home and playing in the garden (where there are toys and lots of balls and sticks!) We never take on more than 4 dogs at once during the day, this ensures maximum safety and security to your pet, and of course all the love and attention they deserve! We own a golden retriever called Homer who joins us each day, he is extremely loveable and calm and it is preferable that your dog (s) get on with others. We will not mix dogs from different families for overnight stays so that your pet is comfortable and happy.
We are experienced dog owners and walkers and have volunteered in dog and animal shelters. We also have experience with cats, hamsters, rabbits, fish, horses and chickens. We are aware of the Public Spaces Protection Orders, and the do's and do not's of dog walking.
We have insurance.
It is preferable that we arrange a meeting with you and your dog/s before their stay. This way your dog/s can be introduced to Homer and you can get a feel for the place. We will get you to fill in a few questions and sign a consent form regarding your dog/s to ensure we have all the correct information to give your dog/s a very happy and positive experience. If you make a last minute booking and are happy not to visit beforehand we can arrange to ask you the questions over the telephone and have you sign the consent form on arrival.
There is no administration fee or charge for visitation prior to your dog's stay.
What we offer:

However if this is difficult for you then let us know and we can arrange a pick up.
